@heavyd777 Yep, the video is getting a little long in the tooth and, in fact, playon has changed their business model substantially. With Hulu and Netflix support (among others), the Roku is my favorite media device right now, though they'll pry my HTPC w/ WMC, Hulu Desktop, and Plex out of my cold, dead hands. Popcorn hour still has it's place, but until they can add mainstream services support, I'm afraid they'll only continue to find success in the Non-US markets.

Wow, this is old. Still some good info but the 300 series are out now. PS3 are overrated anyway. Unless you are a heavy gamer why buy it? PCH is far cheaper and better.

PSN Still down with no end in site. If your like me and you rely on the PS3 for Hulu then this means your TV programing is down as well. Now is the time to look into Free broadcast TV. Most people are unaware that it's now possible to receive FREE High Definition and Digital broadcasts over-the-air (OTA) using a simple antenna connected to your television set! Go to KilltheCableBillDOTcom to get your 5$ Off - Promo Code for the #1 Selling Indoor Antenna on Amazon.

@DJBudGreen Excellent tip...I'm glad this has been updated. I may have to give Play On another chance in my system.

Even FF works for me to a point. It will FF through to whatever amount has been buffered, INCLUDING COMMERCIALS. Granted the buffer is small so you'll burn through the buffer in about 10-15 seconds. But just pause it again, let the buffer fill and FF again. Limited, but functional nonetheless. I've got Playon running to an PCH A-100. PC is wired as well as PCH. Wireless will not allow FF but plays OK.

The playon software is installed on a computer on your network. The computer streams netflix/hulu, transcodes (converts) that file into one that PH will recognize, and then sends it to the popcorn hour.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do I get the Popcorn Hour to use the downloaded add-on? Do I download it to the Popcorn Hour? How do I do that? I'm a nubie at all of this. How do I get the Popcorn Hour to use/download Netflix?
