The Celestion G12H - 30 70th anniversary has the best all around tone.

Great demo...and since it was done in 2009 I have to cut u some extra slack because I think if u did this albeit very well done demo with the new Celestion Gold....the Gold would blow minds. The G-12 Vintage30 was my fav for years...until I got the new Gold. WOW...!!! Expensive but imho...worth every penny.

I feel like V30's have that upper mid range bite thats really good for bringing out tone.. but I feel like the G12T-75 is just really really smooth. Its hard to tell... hard to tell. Im looking at these speakers for a '74 Super Lead I just bought. Anyone have ANY suggestions?? Thanks!

I love the v-30's, I use them now in a x pattern with seventy-80's. But I did like the k-100, very big yet tight bottom end.

I have a Traynor YCS-50, comes stock with a vintage 30, and I can say no complaints from me in any way, covers the right frequency spread for all my needs. |
