for some reason when my speakers are plugged into the tv via 3.5mm cable into the headphone jack, the sound quality is that of the crappy built in ones, just amplified! Is there a way around this?

OK I have this monitor in my country it was the cheapest and the best you can buy for the money but during use I have a feeling that there is a lack of color so it resemble a 18 bit picture whether someone else has a similar impression, and whether anyone knows the reason for this I think the problem is not the graphics card I have a 5770 which has support for 24 bit color system is tuned to a 32 bit image win 7 I use the VGA output and a cable that comes with it

Just picked up a G2222HDL today $130. I was very impressed by the picture and colour quality for the price. Looks outstanding at full 1080p. I'm very satisfied, n would totally recommend it.
