@MrJohnFodor I'm guessing you have never owned a high end plasma TV. CRT? Are you joking? Go get yourself a Samsung 8000 plasma and tell me it is crap. Mine brings a smile to my face every time I fire up a game.

Ok something i do not get is i have a 27inch Sanyo t.v (im not to sure if its plasma or lcd) and whenever im under it and look at it from under it gets darker....any iidea why??

I like my plasma because I never need to turn the radiator on for heating, the tv gives enough out :)Got a 37inch panasonic plasma, 2 weeks time also getting 42inch samsung plasma,Best to go for plasmas that have VGA, hdmi, digital optical ports all in one.

@Vl0LAT0R low viewing angle? Maybe the lcds that were built 10 years ago, my 42" Toshiba can be seen from any angle in the room.

i notice a big difference between 1080p and 720p get 1080p. blu ray is the only way to go and cable comes in 1080 now as well
